Lindeth Howe Hotel is a stunning venue hidden away in the romantic surroundings of the Lake District. Steeped in history, Lindeth Howe itself was once home to English writer Beatrix Potter. Sophia and Chris asked me to be there wedding photographer about 8 months before their big day.
They both wanted a small intimate wedding with only 2 guests. I absolutely loved this! Sophia and Chris got ready in separate rooms and neither of them had any nerves, both very ready to be wed. Sophia also brought along an extra guest their little baby that was due very soon!
Before we knew it, it was wedding time! Chris was waiting downstairs in one of Lindeth Howes stunning rooms. The scene was set, fire burning, sun peaking through the windows and guests waiting for Sophia’s arrival.
The ceremony went perfectly, they exchanged their vows and walked back down the aisle hand in hand as husband and wife. Before the rain was due we headed outside for some Mr and Mrs photos around the gorgeous gardens of Lindeth Howe. One of my favourite parts of Lindeth Howe Hotel is the intimate details they have inside reflecting the history of the hotel. I tried to show this off with Sophia and Chris photos.
I left the couple mid afternoon as they where heading off to a spa day to chill and relax reflecting back on their amazing day. Thanks so much for giving me the opportunity to photograph your big day.
