Ashton Memorial, The grade 1 listed building was commissioned by Lancaster industrialist Lord Ashton as a tribute to his late wife Jessy. Quite a fitting ceremony venue. All week the weather had been wet but somehow Emily and Bernard managed to get blistering sunshine on their wedding day.
Emily got ready at home along with all here brides maids and mother. I have to say Emily was as calm as they come. No nerves, she was ready to be wed.
Before we knew it, ceremony time arrived! The ceremony went perfectly, they exchanged their vows and walked back down the aisle hand in hand as husband and wife. After a few group photos we headed around the stunning ground of Ashton Memorial (Williamson Park).
The reception was held at one of my favourite venues, Lancaster Golf Club. Next thing, wedding breakfast, topped with heart felt speeches. \
The evening reception was nothing short of dancing, drinking and fun entertained by an amazing live singer/DJ. I wish Emily and Bernard a lifetime full of happiness, thanks Ollie
